CF Napa Brand Design's Award-Winning Spirits Packaging

CF Napa Brand Design drew inspiration from the rich history of Holland, Michigan, a town settled by Dutch emigrants in 1847. The town's historic architecture, predominantly in the Art Deco style, served as a muse for the design of Coppercraft's custom bottle. The design team delved into the preferences of craft spirits consumers, developing an authentic brand story that leverages local history and regional insights.

Coppercraft stands out from the competition through its commitment to local ingredients and a strong emphasis on branding and packaging. The distillery handcrafts its premium small-batch spirits using authentic ingredients sourced from local farmers. The custom glass bottle is a testament to the brand's dedication to quality and craftsmanship.

The custom bottle design includes messages about the product's premium nature. A specially designed “Proudly Crafted in Holland, MI” seal on the front label features a tulip icon, a nod to the area’s history of tulip cultivation. The bottles are screen printed with the brand logo, and the custom closure is crafted from natural wood with a copper metal inset, adding to the overall premium feel of the product.

The design team faced the challenge of creating a packaging that communicates key messages to craft spirits consumers, who are known for their loyalty to authentic brands. The result is a highly crafted design, down to the smallest details, using the finest materials. The packaging sets Coppercraft apart as a super-premium offering, providing an authentic and premium choice for consumers.

In recognition of its exceptional design, Coppercraft was awarded the Golden A' Packaging Design Award in 2019.
